E-mugi is an online application, that Udalsarea 2030 makes available to the network's local councils and supramunicipal authorities, to facilitate the management and monitoring of the local sustainability plans of the local authorities committed to sustainable development and the assessment of public policies and their dissemination to society.

The e-mugi application allows each municipality to include all the information on its local action places linked to local sustainability, from a holistic approach taking the governance, environmental, economic and social aspects into account.

Its design allows that information to be broken down into municipal strategic lines, policy programmes, planned actions and policies, which help to achieve the previously defined local sustainable development goals. Furthermore, it also allows a systematic monitoring of the information and the logging of results.

E-mugi facilitates and streamlines the integrated management of local sustainability, as it allows:

• The municipal information associated to its sustainability policies to be centralised and organised.

• The degree of implementation of the local sustainability plan to be regularly assessed, based on the analysis of the planned actions.

• Support measures to be regularly organised to comply with the initial schedule, along with its updating.

• Local information provided by the Udalsarea 2030 Technical Secretariat to be obtained as part of the partnership with supramunicipal authorities.

• The selected local sustainability indicators to be calculated to set up the local sustainability indicator system of each municipality.

• Material to be obtained for the internal and public communication of results.

Access to e-mugi is exclusive to the local authorities belonging to the network. They should contact the network's Technical Secretariat to arrange it.

The Udalsarea 2030 network provides the e-mugi users with technical assistance to solve any query or incidence that arises when using the application.
